This unique sculpture is formed by a continuous flow of the letters 'e' and 's'. It spirals upwards to form a stylised quaver which depicts the students' journey towards success, culminating on a high note.

The Unicorn
Artist-in-School Project
Guided by Chua Boon Kee, Koh Nguang How and Lee Mei Ling
A reborn of trash and discarded objects! Creating a unique sculpture out of recycled materials, both artists and students enjoyed every process from conceptualisation using available materials to assembling the finished piece. First, student explored and developed ideas by playing with the materials. Then, with the guidance of the artists, students started visualising and expressing the finalised idea into the actual artwork. Along the way, students were shared with and learnt the elements and the principles of design (the good use of line, shape, form, tone, colour, texture and space; the balance, harmony, contrast, rhythm and composition).

Roysth Student Sculptures
Artist-in-School Project
(first school project)
This is an unusual project that inspires students towards sculpturing interest. Indeed a very educative one, too. Loads of live demonstrations were performed. Many students during their free time crowded around the artist’s working space while he shape and sculpt. It was highly interactive as students were unrestricted to ask questions while artist demonstrates the different essential steps in casting techniques. Students were encouraged to touch and feel and learn the various materials, tools, clay models, moulds, etc. The finished artwork was installed at the entrance hall of the school, displaying two students with welcoming gestures to greet any visitors to the school.
